In true 2020 fashion, the end of year weather is creating some challenges for the events planned in Tulmur Place in the Nicholas Street Precinct.
With storms, heavy rain and strong winds predicted for the weekend, organisers have made the tough call to postpone the 12 December Saturday Sunset Session.
It’s not all bad news however; everyone’s favourite tap stars – Those Tap Guys – along with DJ Gavs, will now take to the stage on Saturday 30 January 2021 from 5pm, so tap fans will still be able to enjoy the energetic moves and dynamic energy of Those Tap Guys.
The inclement weather will also mean that the Summer in the City pop up events and live entertainment planned for Sunday 13 December between 11am and 2pm have also been postponed.
Organisers are keeping an eagle eye on the weather forecast for the week ahead, and school holiday activities with Sparky Do Dah, Triangle House and Danibelle’s Musicadium, currently scheduled for 9am to 11am daily from 14 to 18 December, are likely to go ahead under the shade pavilions in Tulmur Place next week.
