Learn Office: Word, Excel and Powerpoint
This three-week course will take you through learning the basics of Microsoft Office. Understand how to create documents, spreadsheets and fancy slide shows using Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Week 2 looks at calculating with Excel, including understanding spread sheet cells, calculating multiple cells together, creating different types of charts, and quick keyboard and mouse tricks.

Kids workshops at Redbank Plaza
Workshops for children aged two to five are held at Redbank Plaza each Tuesday and Thursday. Children can enjoy fun, energetic, exciting sports based activity sessions. The sessions are designed to promote play-based learning. Places are limited, more info here.

National Apology event at USQ
The University of Southern Queensland (USQ) will commemorate the 10th anniversary of former Prime Minister Kevin Rudd’s formal apology to the Stolen Generation with a National Apology event at its Springfield campus. The event will reflect on the injustices of the past and commit to a renewed and continuing journey towards reconciliation. It will include a viewing of Kevin Rudd’s historic apology to Australia’s First Peoples and special guest Aunty Rhonda Collard-Spratt (pictured) will speak about life as a mission child of the Stolen Generations.
