Ipswich residents will be bouncing with joy following the latest addition to the Nicholas Street Precinct, global action-adventure brand Bounce Inc and its dedicated pre-school format miniBounce.

Ipswich City Council Economic and Cultural Development Committee Chairperson Councillor Pye Augustine said it was yet another vote of confidence in the Nicholas Street Precinct.

“The miniBounce adventure play concept is designed for children aged between six months and six years. The format combines mini trampolines, an interactive play structure and more,” Cr Augustine said.

“It will complement the adjacent adult-orientated General Public operation, which has brought its signature ‘eatertainery’ concept to Nicholas Street Precinct, including state-of-the-art arcade games, 14 tenpin bowling lanes, golf simulators, billiards tables, food and licensed drinking spots.”

Cr Augustine said the community will also welcome Kickin’Inn, a premium seafood restaurant, by the end of the year to the Nicholas Street Precinct.

The new offerings will move in alongside existing tenants Hoyts Cinemas, General Public, Hotel Commonwealth, Gelatissimo, Sushi Hyo, Zambrero, Bun Bun Bao, Terry White, Sofia Nails, Austhetica, That Dumpling Place, Stellarossa, Head to Health, as well as VE Group, Indie School and College, and the Red Cross.

Bounce CEO Merissa Collins said miniBounce has been designed to equally meet the needs of parents and children and will open its doors in early 2025.

“Ipswich was always the clear frontrunner for the next miniBounce venue and we are delighted to announce our expansion to the Nicholas Street Precinct,” Ms Collins said.

“We have five popular venues in South-East Queensland, and the Nicholas Street Precinct is a thriving central location that’s perfect for miniBounce.”

Ms Collins said Bounce launched its first venue in Melbourne in 2012. The brand has since grown to operate more than 21 venues across Australia and three in New Zealand.

Bounce also has a growing international network across South Africa, India, and The Middle East.
