IPSWICH businesses can learn how to get the most out of digital technology at a free workshop at Studio 188 in March.
The Digital Business Workshop is being delivered by the Queensland Government with the support of Ipswich City Council.
Economic Development and Digital City spokesman Cr Paul Tully said at the workshop, participants would create a digital action plan for their business.
“Businesses destined to thrive in today’s global marketplace are those which have a good understanding of how to make digital technology work for them,” Cr Tully said.
“This workshop will help with understanding digital trends, how to use data for better decision-making, the value of analytics to track performance and improving online presence and customer experience.”
Businesses attending the workshop need to first complete a Digital Scorecard online assessment at www.business.qld.gov.au/digitalscorecard
“This scorecard is the starting point and will give a clear picture of how the business is currently using digital technology,” Cr Tully said.
“It will identify not only gaps but also opportunities, and help inform each participant’s individual digital action plan.”
The workshop is from 8.30am to 1pm on 12 March 2018 at Studio 188, 188 Brisbane Street, Ipswich. Register by 9 March at https://dbw180312.eventbrite.com.au
