February 24: Nut Job and Wonder at the movies

Tivoli Drive-in and markets

Gates open super early for the drive-in, to allow guest the opportunity to check out the markets from 4pm. Movies kick in at 7pm. Tonight’s blockbusters are The Nut Job 2 at 7pm, and Wonder at 8.45pm.

2. Parkrun

Start your weekend off with some fitness fun. This free 5km event is held weekly and suitable for runners and walkers of all fitness levels. Volunteers are also sought to help the event run smoothly.

Race Ya Mate

Race Ya Mate events are to cater for any individuals who wish to race their vehicles down the 1/4 mile. Entry is on the day at the gate.

Indoor pool launches at Redbank Plains

Rackley Swimming Redbank Plains will launch its new indoor pool with a family fun day. The event will include face painters, a jumping castle, a balloon entertainer and other attractions.

Are You Being Served auditions

Auditions are being held today for the popular dinner theatre, Are You Being Served? Come along and try out. Ipswich Musical Theatre’s Company will be putting this show on, which has been adapted for the stage by its original creators. Director is William McCreery-Rye, who directed the popular The Vicar of Dibley for IMTC in 2016.

Learn 3D design and print

This three-week course will teach you the basics in 3D design using an online tool, Tinkercad. Start to create your own unique design, explore similar designs online and mix them into your own. Prepare your 3D designed object for printing and have a chance to design in virtual reality using Google Blocks. Basic computer skills are required. Email address is required for these sessions. Week 3 talks about importing and mixing 3D designs, preparing 3D design for printing, exploring other 3D design applications, and using virtual reality to create 3D designs.

19th & 20th Century Works
