Get your hands dirty this National Tree Day at Llewellyn Toyota!

Llewellyn Toyota and Toyota Australia invite all residents in Ipswich to get their hands dirty planting trees to celebrate National Tree Day on Saturday July 27.

Llewellyn Toyota will be hosting a rree planting session at Cribb Park, North Ipswich to celebrate Australia’s largest annual tree planting and nature care event, which encourages communities to help preserve the environment for future generations.

“National Tree Day is an important national campaign that Toyota dealerships across the country use as a fulfilling opportunity to connect with our local communities and to do good for our environment,” said Matthew Taylor-Farrington, Marketing Manager – Llewellyn Toyota.

Toyota Australia Chief Marketing Officer Wayne Gabriel said the support and dedication to National Tree Day shown by Toyota dealers nationwide was a testament to the company’s values.

“Toyota Australia has been supporting National Tree day for 20 years and our commitment to a greener future is stronger than ever. Over 25 million trees have been planted since its inception in 1996 and every year we are proud to see a great turnout at sites all around the country”.

Toyota Australia is celebrating its 20^th anniversary of supporting the national campaign in 2019. Last year nearly 200,000 volunteers took part in National Tree Day at over 2,800 sites across the country, planting more than 730,000 trees, grasses and shrubs to help green urban areas and give back to the environment.

National Tree Day is organised by Planet Ark in partnership with Toyota Australia and its Dealer Network which provides on-the-ground support at tree planting sites across Australia.
