The Australian Breastfeeding Association (ABA) is a voluntary organisation interested in the promotion and protection of breastfeeding while providing mother-to-mother support.

The Ipswich, Springfield & Surrounds ABA Group will be hosting a discussion meeting on the 2nd August from 9.30 – 11.30 am at the YMCA Springfield Lakes.  The Topic will be breastfeeding Around the World as part of World Breastfeeding week.

The West Moreton Region of the Australian Breastfeeding Association (ABA) consists of groups based in Kenmore, Sherwood, Springfield and Surrounds, Centenary/Forest Lake, Ipswich, Lockyer Valley Karana Downs/Belbowrie, and Stanthorpe/Granite Belt. ABA members are welcome to attend events at any group, not just their local group. If you aren’t a member yet, you are welcome to come along to a couple of events to check it out. ABA welcomes all families, including those who aren’t currently breastfeeding. This page aims to let members know about all upcoming ABA events in the region.
