Cook the perfect breakfast French toast for mum this Mother’s Day

Have you or the kids been thinking about cooking mum the perfect breakfast in bed this Mother’s Day but you’re not sure where to start?

We’ve got you covered. Ipswich Hospital Foundation and Ipswich Festivals have partnered for a special Kids Kitchen Mother’s Day edition.

Kids Kitchen gives children aged 7 to 12 a hands-on cooking experience, helping build your child’s knowledge and confidence on what a healthy lifestyle consists of and how to make healthy food choices.

Kids Kitchen has gone online as part of the community’s response to COVID-19.

A video demo of how to cook healthy French toast for mum on Sunday is now available on the Ipswich Festivals Facebook page. The recipe can be found in the comments.

Also, Ipswich Hospital Foundation will run a free zoom lesson making the same recipe, to go through it in more detail, including with tips for plating, at 4pm on Saturday, 9 May. Register for this one here: https://www.ihfoundation.org.au/kidskitchen/Mothers-Day/
